Philip Matesic is an American-born, Swiss-based artist, living and working in Zürich since 2009. He earned his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Social Practice from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) in 2008. His performative, social practice includes urban interventions, conversations and knowledge exchange as primary, relational forms. Cornerstones include the organization and coordination of the 13-year project, Theory Tuesdays (2009 - 2022) and public workshop series,  Practical Fridays (2013 - 2019).
